The talents of two Western Carolina University vocal ensembles – the University Chorus and Concert Choir – will be featured as the WCU School of Music presents its Spring Choral Concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28.
The Western Carolina University Concert Band and Symphonic Band will take the stage at the John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, to perform their final concert of the spring semester.
The Western Carolina University Wind Ensemble will be performing its final concert of the spring semester in the John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 25. It is free and open to the public.
Western Carolina University’s Trombone and Euphonium Studio will be hosting trombonist Jim Decker on Thursday, March 17, and Friday, March 18. Over the years, Decker has performed with many respected artists such as Michael McDonald, Ray Charles, Lou Rawls and Al Jarreau.
Western Carolina University clarinetist Shannon Thompson will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, in the recital hall of the Coulter Building on the WCU campus.
The performance is free and open to the public.
