Western Carolina University faculty member Edward Morse gave a special birthday gift to his wife Patricia Morse recently by establishing a scholarship in her name at the university. The Dr. Patricia Murray Morse Endowed Fellowship will provide scholarships to students seeking a master’s degree in social work at WCU.
Greensboro couple Rebecca Heafner Schlosser and Michael Schlosser are honoring the memory of their late son, David, by establishing an endowed scholarship fund in his name at Western Carolina University.
WCU’s newly restructured online master’s degree in gifted education will be offered this spring as a cross-disciplinary, 30-hour program with a one-week field experience and will focus on helping educators promote students’ creativity and innovation.
