Western Carolina University’s School of Nursing will host a sold-out audience for the second annual Western North Carolina Rural Health Symposium on Friday, April 22, at the Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park.
Prospective nursing students can learn about career opportunities in the field as Western Carolina University’s School of Nursing hosts its eighth annual Education Fair on Saturday, April 2, at WCU’s instructional site at Biltmore Park Town Square in Asheville.
The WHEE Wagon Program, a Western Carolina University School of Nursing outreach project helping medically fragile children, is partnering with participants in a WCU study-abroad course to provide an IV pole-equipped wagon to children in the United Kingdom.
WCU’s School of Nursing, which established the WHEE Wagon Program last spring to provide medically fragile children wagons with IV poles so they can play and just be a kid, recently donated two WHEE wagons to Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva.
Western Carolina University’s School of Nursing is partnering with Harris Regional Hospital and Swain Community Hospital in presenting the WCU Diabetes Education Summit beginning Monday, July 13, and continuing through Friday, July 17.
