Mark A. Kossick, WCU professor of nursing and anesthesia simulation education coordinator, accepted an invitation from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Foundation to serve on its 2018 Scholarship Review Committee.
The Catamount Singers and Electric Soul, a Western Carolina University student ensemble, will present its spring concert, “Bring the Beat In!,” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at WCU’s John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center.

Brian Railsback, chair of Western Carolina University’s Faculty Senate, completed a mission to ride his bike from Cullowhee to Raleigh to raise awareness about that faculty group’s new Student Support Fund, and then he topped it off with a meeting with N.C. Gov. Roy Cooper.
