Jim Colliton and Karen Morgan bring their comedic views on marriage, parenting and family in “Parents Night Out,” which comes to Western Carolina University’s John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Galaxy of Stars Series.
In addition to serving as the best man for his brother’s wedding in 2014, Craig Daughtrey also did some announcing. Afterwards, the bride’s family told the Western Carolina University student, with his voice, he should try radio.
The Galaxy of Stars series continues Friday, Feb. 5, when the Galumpha Acrobatic Dance Trio performs a mix of art and entertainment along with award-winning choreography at 7:30 p.m. at Western Carolina University’s John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center.
The Resolution 2016 Concert, featuring rapper Waka Flocka Flame, will have a bit of a Western Carolina University flavor. Opening the Thursday, Jan. 14, concert at WCU’s Ramsey Regional Activity Center will be recent WCU graduate Dale Urquhart Jr., better known as "Dipsey D," from Fayetteville, who graduated in December with a bachelor’s degree in sociology.
