A compilation of the peer-reviewed scholarship of Western Carolina University’s faculty and staff from 2017 is now available for viewing online.
The Faculty Activity Database lists by name and in alphabetical order the artistic, educational, social, scientific, economic, cultural and other endeavors from the past year.
The university held the 29th annual Faculty Scholarship Celebration on Feb. 13, an event acknowledging the creative and research projects of 229 members of the academic community and announcement of the provost’s internal grant recipients, faculty research and creative activities awards and the Hunter Scholar Award. The celebration was a partnership between Hunter Library, the Office for Undergraduate Studies, the Honors College, the Office of the Provost and Graduate School and Research, with support from the Office of the Chancellor.
An exhibit of selected works will be on display through Saturday, March 31, at WCU’s Hunter Library for the campus community and the public to learn more about the contributions that faculty members make beyond the classroom.
