Old campus wireless networks to be retired in January

In January, the old Western Carolina University wireless networks will be officially retired as the campus switches completely over to the Eduroam wireless network.

Campus users are encouraged to switch as soon as possible to avoid disruptions to wireless access in January.

The new system offers several important benefits including better guest access, extremely infrequent need for credential updating and the ability to connect to wireless access points at campuses across the UNC system and the globe.
