Watch tap dancing to the beat of holiday tunes as “Rhythmic Circus: Red and Green” comes to Western Carolina University’s John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m.

The performance is a co-production between the WCU Presents performance series and the WCU Arts and Cultural Events series.

Rhythmic Circus, featuring four world-renowned tap dancers, will mix its rapid-fire tap with classic holiday songs. The show features a full-cast performance of “Linus and Lucy” from “Charlie Brown Christmas” and a medley titled “Toy Soldier March” with dancers and musicians dressed in colorful soldier attire while performing their dance sequence at eye-popping speeds.

The show also highlights Heat Box, the human beat box, who will present his own version of “You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch,” the song originating from the Dr. Seuss book and movie “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!”

Tickets for the performance are $25 for the general public, $20 for WCU and Southwestern Community College faculty and staff, and $5 for WCU/SCC students. For more information, visit bardoartscenter.wcu.edu or call 828-227-2787.
