Members of Western Carolina University’s faculty and staff have an opportunity to help select the university’s next interdisciplinary learning theme by participating in a survey.
For the past eight years, the university community has chosen a learning theme to foster campus conversations, curricular and co-curricular connections, and enrichment. The current theme for the 2017-18 academic year is “Cherokee: Community. Culture. Connections.”
WCU’s Office of Undergraduate Studies invites submissions through the survey for campus theme topics for 2018-19. Topics are clustered from last year’s survey, and each faculty and staff member is asked to participate in the survey only once with no more than two topics selected, or to write in a different topic. The survey will close Wednesday, Nov. 22, and is located at this website.
The theme for the next academic year will be announced in early December. For more information, contact Carol Burton, associate provost for undergraduate studies, at email@example.com.
