A Bible translator who spent nearly a dozen years in West Africa working with Wycliffe Bible Translators will give a presentation at Western Carolina University on Monday, March 27.
James Pohlig will speak on “The Heart of Africa: Ethics, Honor and Bible Translation” at 6 p.m. in the conference room of Blue Ridge Hall.
Pohlig’s visit to campus is being sponsored by the WCU departments of World Languages, Philosophy and Religion, and English; the Honors College; and Coulter Faculty Commons. The presentation is being held in conjunction with the 2015-17 interdisciplinary learning theme “Africa! More than a Continent.”
