Employment law ‘horror stories’ to be focus of WCU workshop in Asheville

Just a few days before the scariest of holidays, Western Carolina University’s Office of Continuing and Professional Education will offer a workshop in Asheville focusing on “Employment Law ‘Horror Stories’ for Halloween and How to Avoid Becoming One.”

Jon Yarbrough, an employment attorney practicing with the national labor and employment law firm of Constangy, Brooks & Smith in Asheville, will present a session detailing horror stories from some current interpretations of employment law.

The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at WCU’s instructional site at Biltmore Park Town Square. Registration is $99, including lunch.
