Western Carolina University biology professor Kefyn Catley will present a program on photographing insects for the Sylva Photography Club on Saturday, April 9.

The program begins at 2 p.m. at the Cullowhee United Methodist Church, 416 Central Drive.  In addition to information on macrophotography techniques, methods and equipment for shooting insects, Catley will discuss arthropods, including spiders and insects, and their behavior and habitats. A “bugs and things” show-and-tell session will follow the presentation, with attendees encouraged to bring subject matter photos.
