Western Carolina University students who are interested in sustainable energy issues are invited to apply to become a member of the university’s Sustainable Energy Initiative Committee.
Applications are being accepted through Wednesday, Sept. 30. The application is available online.
The committee is responsible for allocating money toward the implementation of renewable energy, energy efficiency improvements, research and internships on campus. The committee’s annual operating budget comes from a student fee of $5 per student per semester.
