Monday forum to provide updates on focus areas

Members of the Western Carolina University community will have an opportunity to hear updates about three university focus areas – the 2020 Strategic Plan, the Millennial Initiative and the Campus Master Plan – during a public forum set for 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, April 27.

The event will be held in the Multipurpose Room at A.K. Hinds University Center.

WCU Chancellor David O. Belcher will provide opening remarks, followed by an update on the strategic plan from Tim Metz, assistant vice chancellor for institutional planning and effectiveness, and updates about the Millennial Initiative and master plan by Alison Morrison-Shetlar, WCU provost, and Mike Byers, WCU vice chancellor for administration and finance.

“The idea is to communicate what’s going on in these areas and to give folks an opportunity to ask questions and give feedback,” Metz said.
