WCU’s Pride displayed for worldwide audience at Macy’s Parade in New York City

Western Carolina University’s Pride of the Mountains Marching Band returned to Cullowhee on Saturday after a trip to New York City and a triumphant performance as the lead band in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The parade was broadcast live by NBC on Thanksgiving morning. Millions watch the parade each year from the streets of New York and on TV worldwide.
