WCU seminar on Web marketing May 21 in Asheville

Western Carolina University’s Small Business and Technology Development Center and its Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation together will offer a seminar titled “Search Engine Marketing” from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at Pack Memorial Library in Asheville.

The workshop will be held in partnership with Internet marketing firm Bullseyefind.com. The director of marketing for the Charlotte-based firm, Larry Stein, and his wife, Gail, who manages the company’s AdWords accounts, will discuss the fundamental principles of effective search engine marketing. Participants will learn to use search engine optimization and pay-per-click advertising within larger marketing strategies in order to translate Web site traffic into sales.

Bullseyefind.com is offering a free follow-up phone consultation to seminar attendees.
