WCU small business center offers free finance seminar for women in Asheville

Compu-Ease Computer Training and Western Carolina University’s Small Business and Technology Development Center will present “Women & Common Cents Finances,” a free financial seminar for women.

The seminar will be held from noon until 2 p.m. Friday, June 6, in the third floor conference room of the Bank of America Building at 68 Patton Ave. in downtown Asheville. Lunch is not provided; however, participants may bring a packed lunch.

Compu-Ease owner Cindy Moors will teach participants how to develop a zero-based budget, get out of debt faster and select software applications that are best for business.

The SBTDC, a service of WCU’s College of Business, provides comprehensive support to business owners, entrepreneurs and those engaged in economic development in 14 counties of North Carolina.
