Western Carolina University faculty and staff members can keep up with the activities of the university’s Faculty Senate and Staff Senate by attending public meetings those two bodies have scheduled in September.

Western Carolina University’s Staff Senate will host its annual open forum with Chancellor David O. Belcher and Provost Alison Morrison-Shetlar from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 13, in the conference room of Blue Ridge Hall.
Western Carolina University’s Staff Senate and the Office of Sustainability and Energy Management will hold a campuswide open forum on Wednesday, Feb. 15, in the A.K. Hinds University Center’s theater to discuss the current state of sustainability, energy management and recycling at the university.
Nominations for Western Carolina University’s Staff Senate are being accepted through Wednesday, Feb. 15. Members serve in an advisory capacity to the chancellor and other decision-makers and meet monthly to discuss staff members’ ideas and concerns.
