LIFE@WesternCarolina begins fall semester sessions

LIFE@WesternCarolina, Western Carolina University’s lifelong learning membership organization for adults 50 and older, kicked off its fall semester sessions with a Tuesday, Sept. 12, presentation on cadaver dogs and law enforcement on the Cullowhee campus and a Thursday, Sept. 14, presentation addressing mosquitoes and mosquito-borne illnesses at the university’s instructional site at Biltmore Park.

LIFE@WesternCarolina fall semester sessions begin Sept. 13

Buncombe County’s sheriff, a veteran Asheville Citizen-Times journalist, a retired meteorologist and several current and former members of Western Carolina University’s faculty and staff will be among the presenters for the 2016 fall sessions of LIFE@WesternCarolina, the university’s lifelong learning institute.
