A Hollywood screenwriter whose credits include “Hill Street Blues,” “Diagnosis Murder” and “Stargate SG-1” will teach two screenwriting classes during the spring semester at Western Carolina University.
A Vietnam veteran who served as a handler with dogs trained for hazardous duty during the war says the dogs have never received the recognition or the honors they deserve. Perry Money, who worked with his dog “Missy” in Vietnam during the summer of 1970, was the featured speaker for a Veterans' Day program at Western on Thursday, Nov. 11, in the A.K.
