Twenty-seven members of Western Carolina University’s faculty and staff will be going on the road Monday, Sept. 18, through Wednesday, Sept. 20, to introduce the university to prospective students during evening events in the Greensboro, Raleigh and Charlotte areas.
The annual series of student recruitment stops known as WCU on Tour is coordinated by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and is targeted toward high school sophomores, juniors and seniors; potential transfer, graduate and distance learning students; and high school counselors and parents.
Events are set for Sept. 18 at the Embassy Suites in Greensboro, Sept. 19 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cary, and Sept. 20 at the Embassy Suites in Ayrsley.
As of Sept. 11, a total of 225 students had registered to attend the programs and total guest registration totaled 735 people.
