Article about Cherokee college experiences by Lasher, Good published in research journal

“College Experiences of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians,” an article by Rebecca Lasher, WCU assistant professor of social work, and Don Good, a 1978 alumnus of WCU and professor of educational leadership at East Tennessee State University, was published in volume 33 of the Research in Higher Education Journal.

The article described a study conducted by Lasher and Good in which they used an 18-question survey to determine if there is a significant difference between the educational experiences of EBCI college students who attend non-tribal institutions and those who attend tribal colleges.
