Reading “Catamount Football ‘16” with a striking image of a player in helmet, jersey and pads superimposed on a deep purple background, the ticket carries the usual seating information and the hashtag “#ClawsOut.” The season ticket cards were designed by Bacari Forester, formerly of the WCU Print Shop and now with Gemini Maverick Media.
“Being chosen as a finalist for the 2016-17 TicketReturn Season Ticket Card Design Contest gives Western Carolina University the opportunity to be recognized at the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics convention in June,” said Austin Burgess, WCU director of ticket operations. “It also helps the Catamounts strengthen their brand in the collegiate athletic industry.”
Catamount football season tickets for all five home dates in 2017 are on sale now through the WCU Athletics Ticket Office and online at CatamountSports.com. Fans can call the ticket office toll free at 1-800 34-GOWCU or 828-227-2401.
