Two WCU students attend financial planning advisers’ conference

Two students in Western Carolina University’s College of Business attended the annual TD Ameritrade Institutional adviser conference last month in Orlando, Florida.

Colin Stewart, a finance major with a concentration in financial planning from Charlotte, and Angie Tram, a Waynesville resident with a double major in finance and computer information systems, had the opportunity to connect with industry experts and explore job opportunities at the event. Both are seniors at WCU.

TD Ameritrade Institutional invited 52 undergraduate financial planning students from 25 universities to attend its annual conference and covered their travel and hotel expenses.

WCU’s Finance Program teaches students the art and science of money management.
