The 2015 Summer Concert Series at Western Carolina University will conclude Thursday, July 30, with a performance featuring Steph Stewart and the Boyfriends.

The band will take the stage at 7 p.m. at WCU’s Central Plaza. Those attending the free show are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs for comfortable seating.

Specializing in folk and Americana music, Steph Stewart and the Boyfriends hail from Carrboro and recently released their second studio album, “Nobody’s Darlin.’” Stewart provides vocals and plays guitar and banjo for the group, and other members include Omar Ruiz-Lopez, fiddle and mandolin; Mario Arnez, lead guitar; and Nicholas Vandenberg, upright bass.

The rain location for the event is Illusions in A.K. Hinds University Center.
