Percussion Ensemble performance April 15, faculty recital April 16 at WCU

The Percussion Ensemble of Western Carolina University, under the direction of Mario Gaetano, will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 15, in the recital hall of the Coulter Building. The following day, Tuesday, April 16, WCU music faculty members P. Bradley Ulrich on trumpet and Will Peebles on bassoon will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Coulter Building recital hall.

Both concerts are free and open to the public.

The faculty program will include pieces including the “Concerto for Trumpet and Bassoon” by Paul Hindemith, Alvin Etler’s “Sonata for Bassoon and Piano” and a piece by Eric Ewazen. Music faculty member Bradley Martin will accompany on piano.
