An information session will be held Thursday, April 25, for individuals interested in earning a master of science degree in technology at Western Carolina University’s instructional site at Biltmore Park Town Square in Asheville.

The session will be held at 6 p.m. in Room 344 of WCU’s Asheville facility, which is located at 28 Schenck Parkway. Biltmore Park Town Square is located just off Exit 37 on Interstate 26. The director of WCU’s MST program and faculty and administrators will be available to discuss the admissions process and program details.

WCU will offer the MST degree at its Asheville site beginning this fall. The program requires 30 credit hours (10 courses) plus a final oral exam, and students will be expected to complete the program in two calendar years by taking two courses during both the fall and spring semesters and one course each summer. Each semester, one course will be taught at the Biltmore Park facility one evening each week, and the other course will be offered online or in the form of independent study.

For more information about the program, contact James Zhang, dean of WCU’s Kimmel School of Construction Management and Technology, at zhang@wcu.edu. Individuals planning to attend the April 25 information session are asked to notify WCU’s Biltmore Park office by calling 828-654-6498 or by emailing miller@wcu.edu.
