‘One-Day Website’ class to be held at WCU’s Asheville site

Area residents will have an opportunity to learn the basics of developing a website in “The One-Day Website,” a class that will be offered Friday, March 22, by Western Carolina University’s Office of Continuing and Professional Education.
The class will meet from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at WCU’s instructional site at Biltmore Park Town Square in Asheville. Cost of the class is $59.
Participants will learn to design, create, publish and maintain the files for a website. Those attending the class should bring a jump drive or disc containing any pictures, logos or other files they wish to use on their websites. No knowledge of HTML or other technical experience is required.
The instructor will be Gordon Pike, a former senior technical writer for General Electric who is an expert in new technologies and office software.
