The donation deadline commitment is March 1. Items might include gift certificates for restaurants, rounds of golf, performances and retail shops; jewelry; and artwork.
The Friends of the Arts organization helps supports the John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center and WCU’s academic arts programs. Contributors to the auction may designate where proceeds from the sale of their donations should be directed.
The auction will be held April 11-14 at the Bardo Arts Center. It will run concurrently with “The Drowsy Chaperone,” a production put on by students from the WCU School of Stage and Screen.
Those interested in contributing to the auction can find a donation form at friendsof thearts.wcu.edu. For more information, email FOAsilentauction@wcu.edu or call Jan Parker at 828-227-7560.
