“Just the Facts,” an employment law workshop designed to help employers prepare for the expected economic conditions of the next four years, will be offered Tuesday, Dec. 18, at Western Carolina University’s instructional site at Biltmore Park Town Square in Asheville.

Workshop attendees will receive information designed to help them establish policies regarding issues such as health care, workplace environment, increased union activity and social media. The workshop also will assist employers in creating business plans for the new year.

Jon Yarbrough, an employment attorney with the national labor and employment law firm of Constangy, Brooks & Smith, will lead the workshop, which is sponsored by WCU’s Office of Continuing and Professional Education.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude with a noon networking lunch. It will be held in Suite 300 at WCU’s facility located at 28 Schenck Parkway.

The registration fee is $89. For more information or to register, go to http://learn.wcu.edu, call 800-928-4968 or email learn@wcu.edu.
