Mountain Heritage Day contest results announced
Western Carolina University’s Mountain Heritage Day festival, held Sept. 29 on the campus in Cullowhee, gave local residents a chance to compete in a variety of contests. Results are listed below.
ARTS AND CRAFTS
Best in show: Matt Kruse of Ingrained Elegance of Murphy.
First place: Lucinda Pittman of Lucinda Handmade Pottery of Saluda.
Second place: Cale and Christy Williams of Triple C Pottery of Eagle Springs.
Best Booth Display: Matt Kruse of Ingrained Elegance of Murphy.
MOUNTAIN HERITAGE 5-K RACE
