Free concert to feature Asheville duo

The Duende Mountain Duo will deliver a combination of live and computer-based music June 28 as part of the 2012 Summer Concert Series at Western Carolina University.

Duende Mountain Duo of Asheville will perform its live instrumentation alongside computer-based production and DJ-inspired transitions at a free concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 28, on the lawn of A.K. Hinds University Center at Western Carolina University.

Duende – keyboardist and producer Will Little and human drum-machine Will Stone – draws its inspiration from electronic dance music.

Shows in the 2012 Summer Concert Series, presented by WCU’s Arts and Cultural Events, happen each Thursday through June and July. All shows are free and audience members are invited to bring blankets, chairs and snacks. Rain location is inside the UC.
