An information session will be held in Asheville on Thursday, April 14, for individuals interested in Western Carolina University’s master of education degree program in college student personnel.
The session will begin at 6 p.m. in the Laurel Forum in Karpen Hall on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Cheryl Joy Daly, director of WCU’s college student personnel program, and university administrators, current students and program alumni will be on hand to discuss the program of study and WCU’s admission process.
The college student personnel program is designed to help entry- and mid-level professionals develop their skills for organizational leadership careers in student services, academic support services, residence life, admissions, multicultural affairs, financial aid and other professional staff areas in higher education. WCU’s program offers late afternoon and evening classes in Asheville and can be completed in two years by full-time students and in three years by part-time students.
