Paper flower workshop set for Feb. 13 at Mountain Heritage Center

A free crepe paper flower workshop, “Paper Flowers for Decoration Day,” will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Western Carolina University’s Mountain Heritage Center.

The family-oriented event is part of the museum’s Arti-Facts! series. It is being held in conjunction with the Mountain Heritage Center’s “Decoration Day in the Mountains” exhibit, which is on display through April.

Workshop leaders will be Susan Leveille, owner of Dillsboro’s Oaks Gallery, and Sylva resident Dot Conner.

The Mountain Heritage Center is located on the ground floor of WCU’s H.F. Robinson Administration Building. For more information, call 828-227-7129 or visit www.wcu.edu/mhc.
