Western Carolina University and its College of Business are partnering with Clear Channel Asheville and the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area to sponsor an Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce “Business After Hours” event Thursday, April 23, at the new Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center.
Set for 5:30 to 7 p.m., the free event is open to everyone and will include a chance to network with local residents and business owners. WCU Chancellor John W. Bardo will deliver some comments and a WCU student group, the Old-Time Music Club, will perform traditional music. Food and beverages will be served.
The Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center is located in Asheville at parkway milepost 384, which is about 1 mile south of the parkway-U.S. 70 intersection, and 1 mile north of the parkway-U.S. 74A intersection.
