Five women, five men selected to WCU ’04 Homecoming Court

CULLOWHEE – Students at Western Carolina University have selected five women and five men for the 2004 Homecoming Court, with a final campuswide election to determine the queen and king.

Announcement of the winners will take place Saturday, Oct. 23, as part of halftime activities at Western’s football game against the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga.

Brittany Merrill Bennefield of Arden, a senior majoring in public relations, sponsored by Theta Xi fraternity. A 2001 graduate of Walton High School in Marietta, Ga., Bennefield is the daughter of Mike and Pat Bennefield.
